This book provides an accessible introduction to information geometry, bringing together ideas from differential geometry, probability theory, statistics, and topological field theory. It guides readers from foundational concepts such as topology, manifolds, connections, and curvature toward probability geometry, statistical manifolds, and Frobenius manifolds. Designed for advanced undergraduate and graduate students, the book combines theoretical development with exercises and selected solutions, making it useful both for learning and for further study.

Geometric Methods in Physical Systems: From Differentiable Structures to Applications

This volume presents selected lectures from the Wisła 22 Winter School and Workshop, organized by the Baltic Institute of Mathematics. It explores how geometric methods can be used to understand complex physical systems, connecting foundational mathematical structures with applications in fluid dynamics and mechanics. The book covers topics including differentiable structures, generalized geometry of incompressible fluid flows, nonlinear differential equations in fluid mechanics, and mechanical systems with nonholonomic constraints. It is aimed particularly at graduate students and researchers with a background in differential geometry and mathematical analysis.
